Dear Friends.
It's been a crazy busy summer. A lot going on personally and with my music. I'm working on new compositions for future releases. I can't wait for you to hear them. Here are some highlights from the last couple of months.
Back to Hollywood
I'm honored that my composition "Places Far Away" has been nominated for a "Hollywood Independent Music Award" in the Contemporary Classical category. The awards event will be in Hollywood, California on August 17 and I plan to be there trying out my new swagger on the "Red Carpet." Photos to come.
Coronation Prom Concert
On May 6, I went to London to attend the "Coronation Prom" Concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Coronation day for King Charles. My friend Ian Mulder performed his compositions and arrangements at the concert backed by on orchestra of over 100 musicians and a choir of over 200 voices.
Ian has been "instrumental" in supporting my music development over the last few years, Especially by inviting me to record my music as he records his own albums with the London Symphony, London Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras'. It was so exciting to watch him perform for a sold out crowd of over 5,000 people.
